My name is Lissa Love, and I am a special education doctoral candidate at the University of Nevada Las Vegas (ULNV). I hold a Masters Degree in Special Education from UNLV. I’m in my 4th year of my PhD program at UNLV. I have been working as a Special Education Teacher for eleven years in a Self-Contained Autism classroom in the Clark County School District (CCSD), the fifth-largest school district in the country. In this role, I work with verbal and nonverbal students aged 3 to 21.
