Dr. Marcia K. Fetters, Associate Professor, Western Michigan University
Dr. Fetters is an Associate Professor of Education at Western Michigan University. She is responsible for providing support for program assessment. state program approval and national accreditation. Dr. Fetters holds a joint appointment in the department of Teaching, Learning & Leadership within the College of Education and Human Development and in the Mallinson Institute for Science Education within the College of Arts and Sciences at Western Michigan University. Dr. Fetters serves as a site reviewer for Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation, and a program reviewer for the Michigan Department of Education.
Her research interests focus on accreditation, teacher education programs, mentoring and induction, education policy and the needs of individuals marginalized from the science education community, with a special focus on individuals with learning disabilities, and learning science in informal settings.
