Dr. Shanita Anderson began teaching in 2001 in North Carolina. She's worked as a National Board Certified Teacher, AIG Coordinator, school, district, and state turnaround coach, and now as a Senior Lecturer in the Teaching & Learning department at Clemson University. With education and leadership degrees from ECU, Fayetteville State, and UNC Pembroke, including a doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction from UNC Wilmington, Dr. Anderson's focus is on trust-building, coaching and mentoring to improve instruction and teacher efficacy. She believes in tailoring professional development to meet teachers' needs, ultimately enhancing student achievement.
