Dr. Chrissy Cross is an Associate Professor and Assistant Chair in the department of Education Studies at Stephen F. Austin State University. She teaches courses in graduate and undergraduate education as well as in the STEM teacher education program. She has published research in the areas of STEM teacher education persistence and retention, curriculum and instruction, qualitative research methods and motherscholarhood in academia. She is the co-PI on two NSF Noyce grants, and one USDOE grant, and serves on the board of the Southeastern Education Research Association Board of Directors.
