Corinne Gorzo, is currently working as a collaborator and project specialist in conjunction with the Howard County Public School System, Bowie State University, and Towson University in Maryland. A career educator with the Howard County Public School System, Ms. Gorzo served students and staff in several capacities including classroom teacher, science resource teacher, social studies/language arts resource teacher, social studies program coordinator, and coordinator of Teacher and Paraprofessional Development.
Ms. Gorzo developed curriculum and designed and delivered professional learning in the areas of elementary science, language arts and social studies. Her work in Teacher Development included coordinating the Comprehensive Teacher Induction Program, paraprofessional learning and development, New Teacher Instructional Mentoring Program, coordinating orientation, professional learning, support for the Teacher Development Liaison Program, and co-leading a team that supported the Professional Development Schools Program, Continuing Professional Development, and system wide professional learning for teachers and support staff.
