Natalie Heisey is a professor of Education at Grove City college. Her scholarly work focuses on literacy, and pre-service teacher quality. Prior to teaching in higher education Dr. Heisey served as graduate assistant on federally funded grants and as a reading clinician. She also was a classroom teacher in Western Pennsylvania. She has extensive experience in mentoring student teachers, and is passionate about working with students across the developmental stages of their preparation in teacher preparation. In addition to her work in education Dr Heisey works in issues related to educational equity.
