Dr. Lorrie Webb is the Assistant Dean for Academics and a Professor of Curriculum & Instruction. She has been at Texas A&M University-San Antonio since 2010 and has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in Curriculum & Instruction. Prior to coming to TAMU-SA, Dr. Webb was an Assistant Professor at Texas Wesleyan University. She also taught public schools in the Waco and Dallas areas. Dr. Webb earned a Doctorate of Education in Curriculum & Instruction degree from Texas A&M University-Commerce. She also earned a Master of Science in Educational Technology degree from A&M-Commerce. Although beginning her undergraduate work in Texas, Dr. Webb completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Indiana University-Purdue University in Indianapolis, Indiana. Dr. Webb has been published in several national and international journals. She has contributed two chapters and co-edited a book. Her main areas of research include technology integration and teacher preparation.
