Zoey Tweh is currently the Programs and Outreach Coordinator at Phi Delta Kappa Intl, an esteemed organization established in 1906 to support educators and school leaders throughout their careers. In her role, Zoey oversees Pi Lambda Theta, PDK’s prestigious education honor society, nurturing the professional growth of members across the globe. A graduate of Spelman College with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Zoey brings a wealth of experience in education, from tutoring in mathematics at the Fulton County School District to mentoring freshmen at Spelman College. She helped develop UrbEd, a Philadelphia-based nonprofit advocating for equitable public education, where she served as Director of Programs, leading initiatives in education reform and community engagement.
Outside her professional endeavors, Zoey remains dedicated to community service and social justice, serving as a Camp Sojourner counselor and board member, facilitating empowering workshops and educational sessions for teenage girls. As a Youth Action Facilitator and Co-Director in Philadelphia, she organized extensive community service initiatives and student leadership programs, underscoring her commitment to fostering positive change. With a passion for the arts, cooking, poetry, and travel, Zoey channels her creativity and advocacy into making a meaningful impact on education and beyond.
