M.C. Kate Esposito is Chair and Professor in the Special Education Department at California State University, Dominguez Hills. Dr. Esposito seeks to ensure that every P-12 student thrives in a high quality -inclusive educational setting that honors and embraces diversity. She conducts and publishes research in the areas of teacher preparation and inclusive practices. Prior to joining the faculty at CSUDH she served as a Resource Specialist and Educational Therapist at both public and non-public schools. She received her BA and MA from Loyola Marymount University and her PhD from the University of Southern California. She holds Multiple Subject and Mild/Moderate Teaching Credentials. Additionally, she has serves on the CSUDH Academic Senate Executive Committee, on editorial and executive boards of scholarly journals and professional organizations. She is currently serving as Faculty Director for the UC|CSU Collaborative for Neuroscience, Diversity and Learning.
