Dr. Amy L. Wiseman is Senior Research Analyst at the REDEE Center where she conducts research on the teacher preparation pipeline. She brings over 20 years of quantitative and qualitative research experience in the social sciences, including over 10 years of experience conducting longitudinal quantitative studies in education at the Education Research Center, Texas' P-20 data warehouse. Her research has centered on student success across the PK-16 pipeline, with a particular focus on equity. Her findings have led to the Texas legislature changing to more equitable policies for middle school math acceleration, a school-based immunization program in 350 elementary schools across Central Texas, and the Texas legislature funding full-day prekindergarten for 175,000 students from low-income families each year. Dr. Wiseman earned her Ph.D. in Psychology (Cognitive Neuroscience) from Harvard University.
