Dr. Damiani is a lifelong educator with a deep passion for academic excellence and online learning. Joining Grand Canyon University in 2012, she currently serves as the Faculty Chair for the Department of Online Teaching and Learning (DoTL), overseeing a team of online full-time faculty. Dr. Damiani collaborates closely with faculty, leadership, staff, and stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality education within the online platform. In addition to Sheila's work at GCU she is a trainer, presenter, and scholar.
Committed to professional growth, Dr. Damiani stays current with evolving educational trends through scholarly endeavors and conference participation, focusing particularly on online education. She is dedicated to developing relationships, cultivating a culture of continuous growth, and supporting professional development within her department. With her blend of academic expertise and practical experience, Dr. Damiani inspires and empowers educators in their pursuit of excellence.
