Susan Watson-Bell has worked in public education for 26 years. She taught high school English for 15 years before moving to the Charleston County School District as a full-time teacher evaluator. While in Charleston, she has led teacher evaluation and mentoring, staffing of secondary schools, and currently serves as the Executive Director of Certified Administrator Staffing and Special Projects. In her current role, she also leads onboarding, certification, the substitute program, and a number of programs which lead to teacher certification including CCSD’s homegrown programs, Teach Charleston and Men of Charleston Teach.
