Artist/Researcher/Teacher
University of Nebraska Lincoln
Dr. D’Adamo is an artist, researcher, teacher at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and Co-PI of the Teaching with Emerging Media Arts Grant (Art TEAMS). She builds communities of innovative educators who see teaching as an art form. She believes that transforming institutions of learning into creative, humanized spaces requires new ways of thinking and collaborations across all stakeholders. Ultimately, her goal is to envision and inspire new approaches to how we shape and navigate "school" in America. Her role in the Art TEAMs project includes leading curriculum design, teaching, coordinating instructors and supporting teacher-researchers in implementation of art centered, student-driven, trans-disciplinary learning in K-12 classrooms across Nebraska.
