Dr. Lisa Huffman is the new dean of the College of Education, Criminal Justice, and Human Services at the University of Cincinnati. Previously, she was dean of the College of Professional Education at Texas Woman's University and dean of the School of Education and Behavioral Sciences and the School of Graduate and Professional Studies at Cameron University. At Ball State University, she served as faculty and chair of the Department of Educational Psychology.
At TWU, Dr. Huffman increased enrollment in educator preparation programs, created a Holmes Scholar program, launched an undergraduate leadership initiative for future teachers, redesigned community college partnerships for seamless transfers, developed paraprofessional-to-teacher pipelines, spearheaded a new major in early childhood education, and facilitated paid clinical experience pathways.
Dr. Huffman is active on multiple boards and councils, including serving as President of the Teacher Education Council of State Colleges and Universities (TECSCU).
