Cindy Gutierrez, Ph.D., is the Director of Clinical Teacher Education & Partnerships at the University of Colorado Denver, School of Education & Human Development (SEHD). She has 25 years of experience leading the design and development of clinically-centered models of teacher education, including CU Denver's Professional Development School Network, numerous "grow-your-own" pathways, and registered teacher apprenticeships. She provides leadership and oversight for the Office of Partnerships to ensure strong collaborative infrastructures between school/community partners and the teacher education program, as well as innovative professional learning and support for mentor teachers and school leaders. She has served as PI/Co-PI on TQP, NPD, OSEP and FIPSE federal grants and several state grants totaling over 24 million dollars of sponsored projects.
