Dr. Joy Myers is the Executive Director of James Madison University’s Grow Your Own Initiatives. As a former classroom teacher, Joy is dedicated to student learning. Now as a teacher educator, she is passionate about making sure that the future teachers she works with, both traditional and non-traditional, have not only the knowledge to best support their students but also the stamina to maintain a career as an educator. Joy enjoys presenting at state and national conferences sharing her research.
