Christopher A. Hoang, Ed.D, is a former alum of
Pepperdine GSEP. He currently works for the Los
Angeles County Office of Education as an
Instructional Technology Outreach Coordinator
where he provides trainings and workshops on
integrating technology into the classroom to
maximize student engagement and learning.
He has worked in education since 2006 working
with students between the ages of K-12 in a
variety of settings: after school coordinator, a
tutor, science teacher, and most recently as an
administrator. Prior to working for the county, he
was an Assistant Principal for Alta Vista
Innovation High School working with at-promise
youth between the ages of 14-24 in an
alternative education model, Independent Study.
His passion is supporting youth to utilize their
voices in creating a meaningful experience in
their pursuit of knowledge. It is these students'
voices that guide his why: to advocate for the
equitable educational rights of all students.
