Marliese R. Peltier is a teacher educator and former special education teacher. During her time as an elementary special education teacher, she has taught children in Illinois, Michigan, and Rwanda. Her research includes mixed methods or qualitative methods studies examining family literacy, teacher preparation, and teacher learning. Dr. Peltier has presented research at national and international conferences and published in multiple national/international journals.
