The International Baccalaureate (IB) is a global leader in international education—developing inquiring, knowledgeable, confident, and caring young people. Our programmes empower school-aged students to take ownership in their own learning and help them develop future-ready skills to make a difference and thrive in a world that changes fast.
IB Educator Certificates are IB credentials for teachers and school leaders that demonstrate they are prepared to teach and lead at the nearly 6,000 IB World School around the globe. This university-level offering is earned through completion of IB-recognized undergraduate, graduate or postgraduate teaching or educational leadership degrees at 50+ higher education institutions across 16 countries. With four different certificate offerings, there are options for pre-service, new and experienced educators to explore and gain a deep understanding of the IB mission and pedagogy. We would like to speak with university faculty and leaders about the potential to offer these certificates at your institution, as well as to welcome educators interested in pursuing an IB-recognized degree program.
